Vincent Moore Awards: Education: University of Alabama - bachelor's in journalism, creative writing minor Work History: Vincent has been involved in journalism and the web profession for 11 years. He has worked as the St. Croix bureau sports writer for the Virgin Islands Daily News and has been involved as an online journalist for both the Indianapolis Star and NOLA.com in New Orleans. Pia Vuohelainen Partner Manager Awards: Education: Work History: Pia has been working in the telecommunications industry for over 12 years in the areas of partnership management, sales, marketing and business development. She joined NAVTEQ in January 2008. Prior to joining NAVTEQ, she was a Lead Consultant for Idean, a company focusing on User Experience and Digital Service Design. Her core competence area was new digital service concept creation and User Experience . For several years Pia worked in Nokia on the device side. She was instrumental to their Mobile Software Unit’s strategy, heading Forum Nokia’s Strategic Initiatives and working with mega operator sales in Nokia Enterprise solutions. Pia holds a Master of Science degree in Industrial Management and Business Administration from Tampere University of Technology. Additionally she has for years studied psychology, leadership coaching and human behavioral sciences.

Kristina Winters Marketing Specialist Awards: Education: Work History: Kristina made the transition to the partner and developer program team after spending time with NAVTEQ’s consumer group. Kristina provides marketing event support on a global basis for developer-targeted shows and events, including the NAVTEQ Global LBS Challenge, JavaOne, Symbian Smartphone and others. Kristina’s experience working within the NAVTEQ sales organization has enabled her to take an immediate lead to ensure that NAVTEQ puts its best presence forward during events. Education: Jill has a bachelor’s degree from Indiana University in Telecommunications and Forensics Sciences. Work History: Jill is a creative communicator, specializing in securing relationships with customers, partners and developers. She launches successful go-to-market global marketing programs, and she has a proven track record in developing memorable solutions by leveraging her experience in web production, video, advertising, trade shows and integrated marketing campaigns with start-ups and large companies in retail, consumer and technology industries. Early in her career, Jill held positions with Walt Disney Pictures and Young & Rubicam Entertainment.

Jeff Wagner Technical Writer Awards: Jeff has been involved in the technical writing field for over a decade, including stints in the entertainment software industry and most recently in telecommunications. Prior to NAVTEQ, Jeff worked in the product development group at Sega of America and in the technical support area at Cisco Systems. Jeff attended San Jose State University with a focus in journalism and technical writing and thus enjoys creating both technical and non-technical content. Prior to joining NAVTEQ, Mimmis was Head of Marketing Planning at Symbian Software Ltd. in London. Great track record of building effective marketing & PR programs targeting developers, with over five years at Sony Ericsson in Sweden, where she was responsible for planning and launching the Sony Ericsson Developer World community website in 2003 and subsequently builing market awareness from scratch to what's today one of the most reputable developer programs in the world.

Work History: Laura supports NAVTEQ’s partner and developer program initiatives through direct interaction with location developers, value chain partners, developer communities, customers and companies contributing to location application innovation. Her focus is to coordinate engagements between developer companies with innovative solutions and partners representing key technology providers, original equipment manufacturers and distribution channels. Laura has an electrical engineering background focused on wireless communication systems and digital signal processing. Her previous work experience ranges from hardware and software engineering in consumer electronics to military communication systems. In addition to her solid technical background, she has most recently been involved in technical sales and business development activities in the area of LBS, developing wireless carrier and third-party application developer relationships.
