Motorway Junction Objects
Motorway Junction Objects enables realistic 3D animation of complex motorway junctions, improving orientation and supporting the driver in making decisions by clearly showing relevant and accurate information in context at the right time.
It enables animated visual display and lane level guidance from the approach of a complex junction through the entire maneuver.
Motorway Junction Objects can be combined with other visual content such as Sign-as-Real as a 2D overlay, to provide even more context to the driver.
Data Features
- Motorway Junction Objects are based on road geometry, ADAS attributes, Extended Lanes, Digital Terrain Model and other navigable attributes to create situation specific 3D context
- Each 3D model is delivered in 3 levels of detail with varying polygon count to accommodate hardware and software limitations
- Texturing used in the 3D models can be customized to create a unique look and feel
Format
- Collada (DAE) linked to NAVTEQ formats: GDF, SIF+, RDF and NAVSTREETS
