Data Features

  • This product contains various geographies 'tied' or 'matched' to the NAVTEQ street centerlines; State boundaries, County boundaries, Core Based Statistical Area (CBSA), Minor Civil Division (MCD), Census Tracts, Census Block Groups and Census Blocks.
  • The three Census Bureau geographies that are used in conjunction with demographic data are detailed below in ascending sizes; they are Census Blocks, Census Block Groups, and Census Tracts.
  • Mexico product contains three geographies 'tied' or 'aligned' to the NAVTEQ street centerlines; State Census Area, Municipality Census Area, and Census Division (AGEB's).
  • The Census FIPS code can be used to join demographic data from secondary providers, and then used for geomarketing and site selection applications.
