The ‘official’ Sponsored Devices for the 2010 LBS Challenge are the RIM BlackBerry Curve® 8900, HTC Hero, HTC Touch Diamond2, and Samsung Omnia II.

Solutions for semifinal judging can be submitted on a Sponsored Device by mail or uploaded via an emulator. Solutions can also be submitted on non-sponsored devices. You may submit up to two solutions per region. Technical support will be provided for questions related to NAVTEQ data and products and official Sponsored Devices, with limited technical support for non-sponsored devices.
- All Solutions, regardless of device, must be non-commercial at the time of submission, wireless and location-enabled using NAVTEQ map data.
- Only solutions on Sponsored Devices are accepted via an emulator.
- Solutions on a non-sponsored device must be submitted with proper power cables and written operating instructions for the Solution.
- All devices (sponsored and non-sponsored) submitted for semifinal judging will be mailed back to the Registrant after the completion of semifinal judging.
- If you advance to the final round of judging and your solution is on a sponsored Device, you will receive a complimentary device courtesy of our sponsors.
