Registration Now Open for NAVTEQ Global LBS Challenge in EMEA and The Americas

EMEA Registration Deadline Extended to October 12, 2007

The NAVTEQ Global LBS Challenge is once again under way, offering developers the chance to compete for a share of a global prize pool valued in the millions (USD), as well as priceless exposure for their LBS application. Now in its fifth year, the LBS Challenge has expanded into three regions: The Americas, Europe-Middle East-Africa (EMEA) and Asia-Pacific (APAC).

Developers are challenged to build innovative LBS applications that work with mobile phones and/or wireless handheld devices using dynamic positioning technology and NAVTEQ® map data.

Registration Dates
· EMEA: August 6–October 19, 2007
· The Americas: September 14–December 7, 2007
· APAC: October 29, 2007–February 29, 2008
