Description
Destination maps will allow pedestrians to access location content about specific destinations that they frequently visit. The type of location content is a geo-referenced map enabling display, search, pedestrian routing &navigation within the destination.
Geographic Data Files (GDF) is a standard designed to provide a common reference model for organisations involved in the creation, update, supply, and application of referenced and structured road network data. The GDF enables road network data providers to use a common data publication reference model for their product definition, while allowing users to define their application independent of a specific data provider’s model.
NAVSTREETS contains the most navigable attributes available in a database. Utilizing the data to its fullest allows the user to access features such as expressway ramps, complete and correct connectivity of all roadways, one-way streets, physical, logical, and legal turn restrictions, construction projects.
NAVTEQ Voice is optimized for ID use with the Extraction Formats (SIF+, GDF 3.0, NAVSTREETS or ArcInfo). NAVTEQ Voice is also integrated into the RDF product. However, it is also possible to use NAVTEQ Voice with NAVTEQ products through text matching. "Text Matching" simply means using NAVTEQ Voice data as a dictionary to look up each name, rather than using the ID references in the VAF and SWF files.
