NAVTEQ LocationPoint™ Advertising APIs

Introducing NAVTEQ's two distinct LocationPoint APIs:

  • The Web App API gives access within hours to the LocationPoint network delivering pre-formatted ads that seamlessly support new, cutting-edge ad features as they become available.
  • The REST API allows deep customization of the ad experience.

Web App API

The Web App API provides developers with a lightweight set of native "bootstrap" code which serves as a framework to request and display Ads. Ads are served in the form of a template driven HTML5 based container, and are rendered in an in-app WebKit browser window launched by the bootstrap code.
