NAVTEQ Map Voice Data™ is optimized for use with SIF+, GDF 3.0, NAVSTREETS® or Arc/Info™. NAVTEQ Map Voice Data is also integrated into the RDF™ product. However, it is also possible to use NAVTEQ Map Voice Data with NAVTEQ products through text matching. "Text matching" simply means using NAVTEQ Map Voice Data as a dictionary to look up each name, rather than using the ID references in the VAF and SWF files. Files associated with the NAVTEQ Map Voice Data product are matched with a specified quarterly release of NAVTEQ data.
