DMap Layers
With an UploadMapTPMap request it is possible to upload DMap layers to the map.
For each DMap layer there are
- Fields that are defined in the layer. These fields are used to define the attributes of all map objects in the layer.
- Fields that are defined in the map object. These fields define the attributes of individual map objects.
- Fields that are defined either in the layer or in the map object. There exist rules that define if the layer field overwrites the object fields or the other way around. These rules are described in a separate table. For each preference rule the table lists the fields to which the rule applies.
The structure of a custom map object follows the structure of the respective map object in the context of the Map24 MapletRemoteControl (MRC) Service.
Note: Both the map object layers and the map objects provide a way to inherit attribute values from a referenced map object. This is done by setting the ID of the referenced map object in the MapObjectReference field.
