NAVTEQ Traffic provides continuously streamed information about traffic conditions. NAVTEQ Traffic is comprised of flow and incident data aggregated from multiple sources and is rigorously tested. The data sources include from multiple sources including GPS vehicular probes, roadway sensors, and Operations Centers.

NAVTEQ Traffic Patterns

NAVTEQ Traffic Patterns is a historical database with information about the average traffic flow velocity for specific sections of roadways, geo-referenced to the NAVTEQ map. NAVTEQ Traffic Patterns enables more accurate navigation calculations so drivers can avoid typical congestion areas, and rely on more accurate arrival time estimates.
