Stephanie came to the NN4D as part of NAVTEQ's acquisition of Mapsolute. Based in Germany, Stephanie is responsible for technical writing, documentation, forum, and email support for Map Reporterand MapTP. Stephanie has a strong blend of technical acumen and documentation subject- matter expertise making her a valuable resource to our organization.

Stephanie received a BSc. in Computer Science from the University of Applied Sciences in Darmstadt, Germany, and a MSc. in Computer Science from a joint program at the University of Applied Sciences in Darmstadt and from the University of Wisconsin - Platteville. Additionally, she has studied Information and Documentation for two years.

Kristina made the transition to the partner and developer program team after spending time with NAVTEQ’s consumer group. Kristina provides marketing event support on a global basis for developer-targeted shows and events, including the NAVTEQ Global LBS Challenge, JavaOne, Symbian Smartphone and others.

Kristina’s experience working within the NAVTEQ sales organization has enabled her to take an immediate lead to ensure that NAVTEQ puts its best presence forward during events. Kristina’s background includes both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in history. She strongly believes that NN4D is totally awesome.

NAVTEQ APIs for Building Desktop Applications can be used to integrate geospatial components into customer solutions such as ERP, CPM, Workforce Management, Call Center, Fleet Management, and many more.

These are the provided APIs for building desktop applications:

MapTP Component Interface (Active X, DLL for Windows)
MapTP API for the Java Platform
MapTP C++ API

The MapTP API for the Java Platform and the MapTP C++ API offer the same functionality so that developers can choose the programming language based on their preference or project requirements. The MapTP Component Interface offers a lightweight programming interface on top of the MapTP API.
